Returns & Refund policy

Selfa want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, which is why we ask that you inspect your order as soon as you receive it. If there is an issue with your item, such as a defect, damage, or receiving the wrong item, please contact us immediately. Our team will promptly evaluate the issue and take the necessary steps to make it right.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES:
1. We stand behind the quality of our gowns and will gladly accept returns for alterations if there is a fault or problem with the gown from our production.
2. Our made-to-order gowns in US standard sizes between 2-14 and without customizations are carefully crafted just for you, which is why we cannot accept returns due to a change of mind.

However, if the gown is in perfect condition, we will be happy to offer an exchange for another size in the same style of gown. Please note that the availability of the desired product and your timeline may affect your exchange. You will be responsible for the delivery fee both ways in this case.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND:
• You must contact us within 24 hours of delivery to request a return.
• You must return items within 3 days of receiving Return Authorization.
• The gown must be in its original, perfect condition, and resealable (unworn, unwashed, non-altered) to be eligible for a refund.
• Please note that only dresses ordered according to our standard size chart and without any customization are eligible for a refund, and a 30% restocking fee will be deducted from the total refund amount.
• Customers are responsible for shipping and handling costs associated with returning the product to us within 7 days of receiving the product, using our preferred carrier.
NON-REFUNDABLE POLICIES:
• All gowns ordered according to personal measurements are non-refundable.
• Orders that are custom-designed or have modified requests are not returnable.
• Sample dresses and all sale items are final sale and ineligible for return or exchange.
• Rush order fees are non-refundable.
• Shipping fees are never refundable. The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.


CANCELLATION:
• We understand that circumstances may change, and you may need to cancel your order. If this is the case, we accept cancellations within 24 hours of purchasing.
• If you wish to cancel your gown order within 7 days of purchasing, and if the production process has not yet begun, we will accept your cancellation. However, please note that a 30% fee will be charged to cover the cost of administration, lace allocation, pre-production, and pattern preparation associated with your order.

 

 PURCHASING TERMS:
We understand that purchasing your wedding dress online can be overwhelming. To make the process easier for you, we have outlined our terms and conditions below. 
• We offer made-to-measure gowns for brides who wear regular US sizes 2-14 at no extra cost. To ensure a perfect fit, it's your responsibility to provide accurate measurements based on our instructions. If incorrect measurements are provided, you'll be responsible for any alteration fees and return shipping costs.
• Please keep in mind that minor adjustments with a local seamstress may still be needed to achieve the perfect fit, such as strap length. Our production time typically takes 5-8 weeks, so please leave enough time for any necessary alterations before your wedding date.
• Before we start creating your dress, we will provide a vision board or sketches (including any requested modifications and the measurements you have provided) for your approval. Please note that any additional requests made during the creation process of the dress may result in extra charges.
• The production of your dress usually takes a minimum of 5-8 weeks. However, in some cases, such as ordering custom fabric or when the fabric is unfortunately out of stock, it may take additional weeks. We'll provide you with an estimated completion date.
• Rush orders are also accepted with an additional charge of $100. Please inform us of your wedding date before placing the order to ensure timely delivery of your wedding dress. This will allow us to prioritize your order and manage the processing time.
• You can place an order for your wedding dress to reserve the fabric, secure a production slot or take advantage of a sale price. However, please note that this reservation is only valid for up to 9 months. We request your measurements within this time frame to ensure that we can accommodate your order. After 9 months, we reserve the right to adjust the price of the dress based on our current capacity and pricing.
