Information for ordering

Important details you should know before placing your order:

Made-to-Measure:
We offer made-to-measure gowns at no extra cost for brides wearing regular US sizes 2-16. Upon ordering, detailed measurement instructions will be emailed to you.
Plus-size gowns from size 18-26 or larger incur an additional $100 fee. Contact us before ordering for guidance.

Customization:
Our designs are customizable to fit your preferences. Minor changes are complimentary, while more intricate alterations may incur an additional charge and take longer to create. If you wish to adjust any dress details, share your ideas or reference pictures with us.
Please note that not all customizations may be feasible. Our stylist will discuss these options with you before finalizing the design.

Production Time:
Our standard production period usually ranges from 6-10 weeks (depending on the design), with an additional 2-3 weeks for delivery.
To ensure timely delivery, we recommend placing your order at least 4-5 months before your wedding date.
Rush Orders:
In case you need your dress sooner, rush orders (3-4 weeks) are available for an extra $100 charge. Inform us of your wedding date before ordering for prompt delivery.

Payment:
We accept upfront payment (50% of the total) to confirm your order, with the remaining amount due before delivery. If you prefer this payment method, please reach out for further assistance.

 

 

 

Delivery

We offer worldwide shipping. All Selfa gowns are meticulously crafted and dispatched from our flagship studio in Ho Chi Minh. Once dispatched, your package will reach your doorstep within the following time frames:

• 14-20 days: Complimentary standard shipping service
• 3-7 days: Express delivery service with an additional fee of $80 USD

For customers in Vietnam, domestic shipping within 5 days, free of charge.

**Important Notes:**
1. When placing your order, please ensure the accuracy of billing and shipping details, including a phone number. We are unable to redirect packages once the courier has processed the order.
2. Your delivery may require a signature, and we regret that we cannot accommodate shipments to PO boxes or APO addresses.
3. Delivery windows are estimated; we cannot guarantee an exact delivery date, especially during holidays.
4. Customers are responsible for import duties and fees, following the customs authority in their location. Generally, customers in the US and Australia do not incur additional taxes.

Returns & exchanges

We facilitate returns and exchanges under the following conditions:

 

Ready-to-Ship Gowns:

Eligible for a return with store credit or exchange if in original condition. Please note a restocking fee of $80 USD per item applies.

 

Made-to-Order Gowns:

Gowns under $2000 and between regular sizes 2-10 (excluding customized and made-to-measure gowns) can be:

• Returned only if there are production faults, not for change of mind.

• Exchanged for a different size, gown style, or store credit if the item is in perfect condition. Please note that exchanges for a different style are subject to a 30% restocking fee based on the initial price.

 

Return Qualifications:
• Notify us at orders@selfabridal.com  within 3 days of delivery to request a return.
• Return items within 7 days after receiving a Return Authorization.
• Returned items must be unworn, unwashed, in original condition, and include all original accessories (garment bags, hangers, etc.).

To arrange returns or exchanges:
Customers must, at their expense, return the product to Selfa within 8 days of receiving it using our preferred carriers (FedEx or DHL) to our studio at the following address:

Upon receipt, we will conduct a quality check to ensure the garment is in resellable condition. If approved, we provide store credit (valid for 2 years) or an exchange. Failure to meet return policy criteria may result in refusal, and customers are responsible for the return shipping costs.
Please note that until received by Selfa Bridal, the product remains the customer's responsibility.

 

Non-Refundable

• Made-to-order gowns over $2000.

• Made-to-measure gowns tailored to a bride’s specific proportions (unless deemed faulty, see solutions below).

• Customized products due to their personalized nature (unless deemed faulty, see solutions below).

• All sale items are final sale and ineligible for return or exchange.

• Rush order fees.

• Shipping fees.

• Swatch and sketch.

 

Solutions for Faulty Products

• Minor defects in gowns that are alterable will be rectified within a reasonable time. We may remedy the defect (at our option) by:

1. Fixing or repairing the product;
2. Replacing the product with an identical product; or
3. Reimbursing a reasonable alteration fee.

• Major defects will result in a refund or replacement, as chosen by the customer.

 

Cancellation: 

We accept order cancellations within 24 hours of purchase. If you wish to cancel your gown order within 7 days and before production begins, a 30% fee will be charged to cover the costs of administration, lace allocation, pre-production, and pattern preparation associated with your order.

 

Other Policies

• Slight variations in color, trim, or fabric from the online display may occur. Your gown might have minor marks or imperfections not visible in the imagery.

• Sample dresses purchased may have faults, requiring repairs and dry cleaning. Refunds or exchanges will not be offered for change of mind.
